What is XP media edition?

Can someone tell me a bit more about XP media edition?
Is it worth me trying to upgrade my PC to?
I have a good spec PC, with Dolby Surround sound.
Have yet to get a decent graphics card - but that's on its way.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
