It is you not telling us that it is a record in one of the logs managed
by Event Viewer showing Outlook Express got hung.

Your signalling could be due to the corruption of the ntdll, for this consultanto knowledge the base of microsoft could try with the substitution of the bookcase. Update Rollup 1 available for Windows XP

MSIMN is Outlook Express. ntdll.dll is a core library of routines for
use by programs. OE has called one of these, and has not received a
response - and that is about all one can say on that much evidence
