What is this error? SMAX4PNP?

Every time I go to shut down, or log off my computer, I am getting the error
that SMAX4PNP is still running. Sometimes the computer locks up. The system
is only four days old.

Download and install the latest Sound Card Driver.

It's all there.

If it is only 4-days old, take it back and get another one or a
refund............. IT AIN"T RIGHT !
