Does anyone know how to convert Notes in Outlook to Private ones? The online
help mentions some Private icon at bottom right but I cannot see or find
this. Any suggestions

I've never seen this option for notes - only contacts/calendar items/tasks.
Where do you see this info/suggestion? What version of Outlook are you
using?

If you go to Outlook and use their help, search for Private Notes, you will
find the reference to some icon that allows you to make notes private. So far
I can only find the not very useful help and no icon or clearer explanation.
I am using Microsoft Outlook version 2003. Any ideas?

That option applies to appointments and items other than notes. Notes cannot be marked as private. Use another type of ittem instead or store private notes in a folder that other people don't have access to.
