What is Segmented Ball Logo in Corner of Windows Explorer?

Only just recently I have noticed in the bottom right corner of the Windows
Explorer pane a watermark-like segmented ball logo.

Anyone know what this might be?

The graphic indicating a pictures or photo folder customisation has been
applied, maybe?
