If you're running WinXP Professional (which you did not tell us) then you
can do this:
- Run gpedit.msc via the Start/Run facility.
- Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Windows Settings /
Security Settings /
Security Options / Recovery Console: Allow floppy disk access . . .
- Set this policy to "Enabled".
- Boot the machine into Safe Mode.
- Rename schedhlp.exe to schedhlp.bad
- Boot into Normal Mode.
- Copy, move or delete the file.
i am running XP Home . i went into the services and shut it down (disabled)
it. No i dont have that software and its not in my task manager just in
services.
