What is msptch.exe?

Is msptch.exe a virus? (Not mspatch.exe) It shows up in my Task Manager
Processes. I went to sophos.com and used the MSblast/MSpatch removetool
but it found nothing. Used ad-aware and found nothing. Did a Google
search and found no info. Searched my hardrive for msptch.exe and
nothing. Nothing in my StartUp folder or msconfig startup.

My system seems fine. I have all critical updates. How do I prevent it
from starting up or should I just let it be. Any info on what it does
would be appreciated.

Did you run spybot?If not then download and run.
Install JV Power tools and delete it from junk registry.
Scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus.
