Flash player adds content to websites and some flash

based programs yes it is "safe" to install,if you choose
to install it you should also install "shockwave" from
the same company.Macromedia.

Some sites use Flash to show animations. Many of them are
advertisements, many more are not. I know that uclick.com uses Flash
to show the interactive Jumble puzzle and their crossword puzzle,
other puzzles use it too. The Flash player is harmless, it doesn't
contain trojans or viruses.

I have the annoying Flash installed, however I have it disabled with
