What is InstallShield Setup Launcher?

Hi

There is a program on my computer called WexTech AnswerWorks that I can't remove using the Add/Remove Programs feature in the Control Panel.

When I attempt to Remove it, a window comes up titled: InstallShiel(R) Setup Launcher. In the window the following message apprears: InstallShield(R) Setup Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvienience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you wre working on might be lost

My computer has been taking a much longer lately to go from the XP sign-on screen to my desktop. I've also been getting some casino and other shortcuts automatically added to my desktop. I've ran Norton and Ad-aware to remove as much junk as possible. I also ran a defrag. Things seem to be a little better, but I'm unable to remove this WexTech AnswerWorks and I have no idea what it is. Oh, I also did a "System Restore" to last week

Any help on how to remove this program would be greatly appreciated

We got the same problem, it's a broken Hotfix included in XPe SP1, for which there seems to be no current Hotfix Hotfix..

You can copy the XP hotfix files onto a post FBA XPe, to fix the problem with Installshields crashing, it fixed the problem for us, but it aint a neat solution...
