What is constitutes your pst file size?

We have several secretaries who have access to their bosses email and
calendars.
They are getting messages "Your mailbox has exceeded one or more size limits
set by your administrator.
Your mailbox size is 2984125 KB."

Is this just their information or does it include their bosses?

Just theirs and it is about the size of the mailbox on the server which does
not include any pst-files.

If this is an automated message from the mail server, its their mailbox
only.

If they have option enabled to cache shared mailbox data, the boss's
calendar is cached in their OST. It would not generate an email about the
mailbox size.
