What is best?

Hi Group,
I am at present using Kaspersky virus killer, as long as it is updated I
dont seem to have any pronblems.
But I do however also have Norton 2003 Anti-Virus and firewall that I
have on CD.

In your opinion what is the best out of the two?
I used to use AVG free edition but this does not seem to recognise some
viruses that are out there.
Also as a matter of interest is it NOT the done thing to have two virus
killers runing at the same time?
I would imagine this would possibly cause a conflict of some sort due to
possible compatible isues of the two virus killers.

TIA,

Mike....

In this group you are going to get 100% of votes for Kaspersky and for
a reason!

Norton is as good as any of the other ICSA Certified AV scanners. In detail
it has excelled in test results more often than most other ICSA Certified AV
scanners..

Personally I recommend Norton AV 2004 because of those reasons and also
because it's default installed configuration provides for fully automatic
updates, real-time scanning, and weekly full system scheduled scans.

Moreover for the years I have used NAV (various versions) it has been
reliable and trouble-free as much as any other evolving software product.

I have also had success and reliable performance with EZ eTrust AV and it
is also an ICSA Certified scanner.
