what is appsn32.exe?

Hi,
I have a laptop running a spyware protection program that tells me
"appsn32.exe is trying to connect to the internet and I should not let it do
so," so I don't.
I don't know what the program is or what it's for. I searched for it on
another laptop, both running XP home edition, and it wasn't in the other
one. It's in the Windows folder.
Can anybody tell me what it is, and should I just delete it?

Try deleting that file to the Recycle Bin. Leave it there for a few days,
then if you don't have any problems, delete it from the Recycle Bin.
