what is a DDE server window?

when i go to shut my computer down i get this DDE sever window is not
responding and i have to click end program now to get it to shut down. What
is this DDE server window as i can't find it in any of my files and have no
idea what it is and why it won't shut down along with the sytsem.

Do a thorough check for malware, and once the system is clean if the
problem still persists do some clean boot troubleshooting.
