For some reason, after I installed Windows Service Pack 2, my logo that says
what edition I have disappeared. How do I get it back or what can I do? (All
it says now is WINDOWS XP with a little blue bar that loads windows)

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.

The service pack does that, because it applies to both Home and
Professional. I don't believe it's possible to change it back.

By the way, you've posted this question in an inappropriate newsgroup. It
should have been posted to a newsgroup dealing with Windows XP. This
newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's part of
Office Professional.
