What happened to all the MSVP's and good help?

I have reposted what I have written in another post here:

on many web pages, the small gifs or graphics don't appear. A small
placeholder is all that shows or an X. Only
when I <right click, show image> does it appear and subsequenty those
underneath. A good example, but [not limited] to is the following web site
(scroll to the news area):

PS, changing settings in IE to load the page each time and clearing the temp
files doesnt help.
