Hi,
I am trying to mimic this setting which is at work, but on my home PC:

\\keylines\KeyNLMtemp

I have a number of drives, but networking is not my thing (basics only). Do
I change one of the Drive names to "keylines" and then create a folder named
KeyNLMtemp? And install all the files in this folder?

Trying to set it up so I can work from home on occasions...
TIA...

I think you'll find this is a computer called keylines, with a share called
KeyNLMtemp.

The folder you share need not be called KeyNLMtemp, but either the computer
must be called keylines, or else you might be able to get round it with an
LMHOSTS entry that makes this name equivalent to another IP address.

(As an aside, this is one of the key shortcomings of accessing resources by
sharename - it makes then nonrelocatable. If you access a resource by a
mapped drive then replacing or relocating the host-computer is no problem,
but accessing a resource by a sharename 'nails it to the floor' obstructing
any future system-maintenance or upgrades.)

Yes (I remember) the KeyLines is the server. Can I not call one of my drives
KeyLines and a folder inside KEYNLMTemp?

Would the path still be the same?
Thanks
