Well I fixed the problem. I read on the web that the same error message
can come from Microsoft's Office & it told you how to delete a line in
the registry. Well these weren't Microsoft products I was trying to
install but I looked through all software locations in the registry
that I could find there that referred to drive 'L' & then deleted it. I
have never had a drive 'L' so 'My Pictures could not have ever been
stored there. Both programs are now installed.
