This is an Access newsgroup. Access is a database application - it is not
related to email.
Not sure where these "symbols" you refer to are, but it seems like the help
files that come with your email application would be able to explain them to
you. If that does not help, then you should post to a newsgroup related to
the program you are using to read email. You will want to be much more
specific and explain which symbols you are talking about, what screen you
are in when you see them, etc.
