what could this stop mean?

Computer rebooted from bugcheck:

IMAPI CD-Burning COM service entered
the stopped state.

Hi,

That's the native CD burnign service. Did you install a third party one like
Nero or Roxio? If so, it would be normal for that service to be disabled. If
you tried to restart it while the other burning software was running (even
as a background load), then that may cause a conflict.

Thanks Rick. I do have Nero and starts up upon boot.

Hi,

Click start/run, type msconfig and click ok. Go to the services tab, uncheck
the Imapi burning service. Click apply/ok, reboot at leisure. You won't get
the message any more.
