Download AquaMark3 from www.aquamark3.com It takes a good card to get a high
score. The 9700 Pro does quite well. It's a 65MB download.

I only asked because I missed the link (within the benchmark) to actually
run the benchmark. Don't I feel stupid. I ended up running the demo. BTW,
I wanna check this game out. It looks great (the demo works it a bit more,
trust me...and with the sound it just completed the effect). Looks like a
schway cool game.

I had forgotten to turn my fans back up to 12V, before running the demo...it
crashed (major artifacting). Rebooted (after discharging memory) and ran it
with fans as full throttle....this thing is gorgeous.

Another curious tidbit: I had left my driver settings set to full AF and
FSAA, just before running it....thing artifacted the Hell out of me. As
soon as I rebooted and turned off FSAA and AF, in the drivers, it ran fine.

Very odd.

IMO this bench works that hardware. Very good indication. However, I
remember when 3dMark2001 (first edition) crashed my Voodoo Banshee, years
back :)

out of curiosity how do we do it? I can run Dawn fine and eve tried using
the files to run dawn with others to various degree's of sucess tried:
Werewolf -Get an image but even in normal mode Psycadelic colors
TidePool - Will run but image is totally polygons, meaning its all triangle
hehe
Toys - Get loading screen voices play then it falls back to desktop
Vulcan - started to load then it crashed to desk as well

If there is some place with the info posted just point me and Ill read for
self but only find stuff about silly pixie Dawn.

Try http://www.scene.org if you want decent demos, they run just as well on
any cards, but some are fantastic to look at :)
Meantime, like all of use radeon owners, it's just a game of waiting for
catchup, until the games are produced there isn't much we can fully test our
cards on :)
