what can i do to get my screensaver to come on

i have window xp and my screensaver wont come on when i am done with my
computer i have it set for 5mins and nothing happen i had it look at but the
guy said it had some thing with the registy if anybody can help me please
send me a email for help with this problem thank you

forget screen saver they are a waste of space, instead set monitor to shut
off after 5mins and if available hard drives after 10mins, i've done so for
long enough and never any problem.
