False positives are so common, MS has a forum for WGA. These false

Care to stay on-topic, or are you running now that you've been shown to
be a liar?

Talking about how much you hate MS, about Ballmer, money, etc...

Your RANTS have nothing to do with fixing the problem or with properly
using the licensed software and provided by MS and in updates.

The translation is that you rant and scream hate towards MS all the
time, you've been doing it for years. You also show that you don't have
a clue about computers, business or home use.

If you're not using MS products then you're just trolling.

Yawn, Leythos snipped the content and resorted to the amateurish ad
hominem attack which means he's run out of ammo again.
If you're not using MS products then you're just trolling.

No, I am on a sacred and noble mission to help people get off of the
Windows addiction and make the Internet a safer place. You are into
insulting others who disagree with you and spewing MS FUD.

Of course, now you've inspired me to really do a number on this news
group. If anyone asks why, YOU will be the reason. I hope you're ready.

Now, shouldn't you be defragging your C drive and updating the myriads

insult me?

I've been running this station for close to 3 years without a single
compromise, without a fault, without any issues... that's more than you
can say about your computer - based on your posts. Oh, and I also don't
have any compatibility issues with documents from any platform like you
do.

More lies, tsk, tsk. I've had this Ubuntu install since Nov. 06 and have
upgraded to each new version and it's solid as a rock. Not the point, of
course, because you can't stay on topic and have to revert to insults
and lies. The average computer user gets malware all the time and my
posts are directed to them, not someone like you who is a tech and
doesn't visit any sites that might compromise your machine. You probably
don't use eMule or Torrents either. Average users DO and they get
compromised. Conficker is infecting 50,000 Windows machines A DAY!
That's 18,2500,00 a year!

I don't have any compatibility problems. I see you haven't taken a tour
of the new Open Office lately.

Proof of the Conficker infecting 50,000 computers a day:

Still waiting for your proof that resellers substituted pirated XP for
genuine XP from Dell but I'm not holding my breath.

And yet not a single person I know has been compromised by Conflicker
following the standard security practices that MS has outlined for
years.

And Ubuntu is a childs OS, a toy, and it's had many problems.
I don't have any compatibility problems. I see you haven't taken a

And yet there are still problems with OO and MS Office and sharing
complex documents and retaining formatting and most other items.

Considering that it's infecting 50,000 computers A DAY, you obviously
don't get out much.
And Ubuntu is a childs OS, a toy, and it's had many problems.

And Windows has never had problems? Ubuntu is NOT a child's toy. It's a
much better operating system than Windows and far more secure when it
comes to malware.
And yet there are still problems with OO and MS Office and sharing
complex documents and retaining formatting and most other items.

Most people don't have any use for complex documents or formatting. I do
all my business with Open Office and none of my clients have complained
that they couldn't open a file with MS Office, be it on Windows or a Mac.

You are not offering people much, when Microsoft already documents how
to secure the OS/apps, and we all know that Ubuntu can be rooted, so
we're not really talking much here - you have hardware issues with
Ubuntu, you have stupid user issues with Windows....

And you divert again, I didn't pick a % of users, only stating, for a
fact, that complex documents don't pass between the two solutions
properly in most cases.

So, try and come back with something that shows me wrong this time,
troll.

Ubuntu has no problem with new hardware. XP does, though. 50,000
infections a day from just one virus is reason plenty.

Sorry but trying to have a dialogue with you is like trying to dialogue
with a brick wall. When you come up with proof, let me know. It's a
proven fact that one in five Windows machines are infected.

And just who provided the proof?

In the thousands of machines I have exposure to, based on your stats, it
would seem reasonable that I would have at least seen one of them
compromised.....

So, again, WGA is not a problem, and that's something that you can't get
your brick head around.
