WEP Keys

I have set up a belkin wireless adaptor on a P4, installed drivers etc.
Windows has sniffed out the three encrypted networks around it and when I
click on the other two it asks for their WEP keys, as it should. However,
when I click to connect to my own router it doesn't ask for the WEP key and
says it cannot connect, may be out of range etc. This is clearly nonsence
as the two computers at the side of it ask for the WEP key and connected fine
when given. Anyone any idea why for this network this machine only is
refusing to ask for the WEP key. I am sure I have met this problem before,
but cannot remember how to cure it. `what am I failing to do?????

Just to be sure... for the other machines that can connect, is it
asking for a WEP key or a WPA key?

Hi
Disable the security in the Router and make sure that you can connect when
here is No key.
Then enable again the security and put a new Key if you can use WPA use
instead of using WEP.
If you have to use WEP read this, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#wep
