Ditto. I even set it to just tell me that the defs were available instead
of auto-downloading, and got to read the message--what I could. I see the
same thing as others do--it appears incomplete.

Well ... upon opening MSWAS it said it had updated. Checking the def
showed it as 5711. Went to Help, About, and clicked Diagnostics. Program
froze for about 2 minutes. When it unfroze, closed Diagnostics by
clicking OK, About still showed 5711 . Closed it.
Did a manual check for an update. Message was that the latest def was
installed. Hovering over the Spyware Definitions link on the Summary
page showed 5711. Clicked Help, About and it showed 5713.
SD link stills showing 5711.
Closed MSWAS. Opened it about 10 minutes later and it was very slow to
open. Hovering over the SD link now shows 5713.
What was in that updated def ? Booze ?
