Welcome Screen Stop when map a network drive

I have a strange problem with Windows XP, my SOHO/home network have 4 machine
3 with windows 98 and one machine with Windows XP SP2. I mapping a Network
Drive on the Windows XP Machine everything works fine.. but When I restart
the Machine the machine stop on the welcome screen, the mouse works, but
don't show me the login screen.

Any ideas please

The Windows XP Machine is a
IBM Netvista
800 Mhz
128 MB RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
