Welcome Screen/Fast User Switching Not Working - Windows XP Home E

The Welcome Screen and fast user switching for multiple users on my desktop
has stopped working. I now just get a login window with userID and password
text boxes. When I tried to enable the above in control panel, I got an
error message that a recnet program addition caused the problem. It
mentioned the file RtlGina2.dll as the affected file. I checked the file
(it's in the system32 folder), but couldn't determine it's role in the
problem or what program may be affecting it. Any suggestions?

This should reset the default GINA in registry.

See if you have Client Service for Netware installed.
