Weird things happen when running games of different resolutions

I have a Windows 2000 machine with a 256 MB Nvidia GeForce
FX 5700 and when I run some games (mainly Need For Speed
Underground) at a different resolution than my desktop it
sometimes minizes the game to the task bar. Sometimes it
will maximize after lots and lots of clicking... If
anybody has some insite on this problem I would love to
hear it.

That last insight wasn't very helpful. Hmm. Did you get
the latest nVidia drivers? They have some new ones from
March... I guess I would start there.
