Weird situation

When I go to certain sites, ie:the KNBC site, everything
is fine. When I click on a news story the page opens, but
then I get a small window that says:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
http://www.nbc4.tv/entertainment/2661379/detail.html.

It's happened several times. I tried a system restore as
well as running Adaware. Typing in the link manually
results in the same thing happening. It only comes up on
certain sites, not on all sites. All the updates are
current. Worked fine yesterday, but not today. XP Pro.

The small window also says Operation Aborted.

The link opens fine in Opera and Netscape@
