the chipset fan on my motherboard died so i replaced it with a compatible
fan, and now everytime i try to boot up my computer it gets to the black
windows logo screen and then restarts, i tried reinstalling windows, and it
still does the same thing, and i can boot in safemode, but only for about 5
or 10 minutes before the screen goes blank and the whole system restarts.
any ideas or help as to what the problem actually is would be greatly
appreciated

Have you tried testing memory with something like memtest86? Also, have you
tried testing your hard disks (manufacturers' tools). Are all the fans in
the system working properly? This problem sounds thermal to me somehow.

i tested my hard drives, and all the other fans in my computer are working
correctly, and the problem has worsened, i cannot even boot into safemode now

Is there dust clogging any of the heatsinks? Is the power supply in
tolerance?

well i finally figured it out, i unplugged all my optical drives and all but
the hard drive i have windows installed on and it works perfectly fine, so it
must be my power supply
