Weird duplicate "User"entry in Documents and Settings"

Hi i have a strange problem..
as i was trying to duplicate a user
then erase the previous one i now have 2 users with the same name:
Patber
Patber.PATBER
why is it so.. and how do i get rid of the second entry.
Thanks..
 
It creates things like randomly. It is safer to just leave both there.
