Weird Calendar and contacts issue

I recently bought a new computer, and imported all my previous info into
Outlook (contacts, calendar, etc.).

For some reason, I now have two calendars. Calendar one is the main MS
Outlook calendar. It's empty. It's empty because all my calendar info has
been imported into "Calendar (2)". I don't want two calendars, and want to
put all my "Calander (2)" information into the main Calander, and then delete
Calander (2). Main reason - tasks and reminders won't coordinate with
Calendar (2), only the main Calander. And I also just don't need two
Calendars there b/c it's extra confusing for my blackberry sync.

My other problem is my contacts. They're in the Contacts file, but they
don't sync with my emails. That is, on a new email message, it doesn't look
in the Contacts file for the address.

Finally - I can't start Word as my email editor. Why? I have no idea.

I'm using Office XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Open Calendar (2), select all items (CTRL-A) and drag them to the main
Calendar. Delete Calendar(2).

Enable the folder as an Address Book. Right-click Contacts, choose
Properties, then the Outlook Address Book tab. Click "Show this folder and
an e-mail Address Book"

Brian,
Thanks so much man. The contacts trick worked perfectly. However, I can't
seem to "select all" in Calendar (2). That is, I'm hitting Control A as you
suggest, but it's not working. Am I missing a step?
Thanks again.

Brian,
Thanks, I just figured it out. You have to go to "category" view to select
all. Worked like a charm.
Thanks again.

Click View>Current View>By Category and then CTRL-A will work.
