Calendar and Contacts Navigation Pane

I have added a calendar and contacts file from a public folder to the
Favorites for all of the outlook users in our company. There is a section in
the Navigation pane that appears for most everyone that is called either
"Other Calendars" or "Other Contacts". That seems to be where these
calendars and contacts are listed for the person to access. There are a
couple of users that this section does not appear at all. I have added the
calendar and contacts to the Favorites Folder, but am not able to easily
access unless I am going through the folder list.

How can I display those sections?

So they are not visible when you look in the individual modules? Try
resetting the nav pane - at start menu, run, type:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane

I'll try this tomorrow when I go to work. I'm not sure I know what you mean
by individual modules? In the Outlook for the particular users, the
Navigation pane does not have a "Other Calendars" or "Other Contacts"
section. As a result, the calendar or contacts I added to favorites is not
visible, no. Not even under "my calendars" or "my contacts".

I just tried this on my personal outlook here at home and it doesn't do
anything. What happens when the navigation pane is reset? I don't want to
somehow delete or lose other calendars or folders or anything as a result. I
really just want the sections to be available.

At most you'll need to add shared calendars back. Any calendar in your
mailbox or pst will come back automatically, as well public folder
favorites.

A module exists for each outlook item type - mail (ctrl+1) calendar (ctrl+2)
contacts (ctrl+3) etc. Are the users without the Other section looking in
the folder list (ctrl+6) or the individual module? If the module, then the
navigation pane may be corrupt and resetnavpane will rebuild it.
