How do I move calendar items from an archive folder to a personal

I am running Outlook 2003 on XP. With the recent Hotmail change, I had to
download Outlook Connector in order to continue receiving my hotmail emails
via Outlook. With that download, I know have multiple folders for my
calendars and contacts. With the calendars, the annual repeating items (e.g.
birthdays) are appearing in the "Calendar in Archive FOlders" and all of my
other items are showing up in the "Calendar in Personal Folders." How can I
move them from the archive folder to the personal folder?

Also, I can I make the personal folder the default folder so when I click
the Calendar tab in Outlook, it's the Personal Folder version that I see.
The current default is a 3rd calendar called "Nancy's calendar." I'd also
like to make the personal folder the default for Contacts as well.

Easiest to move your calendar items would be by changing to the All
Appointments view via View-> Current View

To set another message store as the default in Outlook use File-> Data File
Management...
