Hey everyone.

I have a strange issue. I've seen it twice in the last week on 2 different
computers.

The initial symptoms, that made the users call, is that they can't print in
IE. We use IE5.5 SP2 with Win2k SP3...

But, after checking, it appears the dll files (such as digest.dll) are
version 5.0 (according to a right-click - properties - version on the
files). BUT, if we log on the computer using another user account (AD), the
dll files are completely OK, version 5.5 and all.

So far, we've deleted the user profile on the computer and just recreated it
and it worked but we'd like to know what could be the problem, so we can
prevent any further occurences.

Thank you.

Nothing there seems to fit the DLL problem I'm experiencing... ?!

Can you print with any other programs?

What is the error message if any?

protection fault at adress xxxxxxx in iexplore.exe
