To view our office surveillance cameras online, IE prompts us to download &
install "webview.exe" and/or "webview.dll", and a lot of times, even after
we've done so, IE continues to prompt us "to accept to download & install"
it, and seldomly shows the cameras. We've gone into IE options and changed
the options to allow/download signed/unsigned activex. We've even turned
off firewalls, anti-virus and pop-up blockers
But here is my question:
Is "webview.dll" a windows XP requirement for viewing cameras online, or is
it unique to the DVR software we're using? Do we have a choice of
alternatives not requiring that file?
Thanks for helping.
