Website Links in Outlook will not open up, but will in Hotmail

I am unemployed. I use Outlook for communicating with potential employers.
It is easy to attach cover letters and resumes. I receive announcement from
CareerBuilders and Monster with jobs which match my skill set. When I open
the email in Outlook The Career Builder Website will show me all the jobs
matched to me, and sometimes there are quite a few. When I click on the job
link or company link( it underlines it and looks like it is going to connect)
it never takes me to the site. So I have to minimize Outlook, open up
Internet Explorer, open up Hotmail, open up the CareerBuilder email, click on
the job and it goes right to it!

I need help. What do I need to do to get Outlook to open up those internet
websites?
I'm frustrated!

That's often caused by missettings in the web browser setup in Windows. Use
Windows Set Program Access and Defaults to reset the browser settings.
