website issue

I changed our website - the index.html file and for some
reason - our website is still pointed to the old one?
Any suggestions the website is on a windows 2000 server
and I know I'm putting it in the right directory.

2 things, sometimes it can take a day or two for the ISP to refresh the site
if they are a bit bogged down.
Another, my current ISP is actually case sensitive - it insists that you use
a file called index.html and wouldn't recognise one called Index.html (with
a capital letter). Very unusual.

is your default document index.html? if it's index.htm, then it will not be
updated, since you named the new version index.html (note the "l" in the
extension).
