Okay then... I suppose that is a bit more information to work with. Your
printer came with a CD and likely had some software that you installed
before installing your printer? If so then go to your Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs, and remove your printer's software and delete the
drivers from the Device Controller once again. Unplug the printer and
reboot. Install the software from the CD for the printer (I hope that it
allows this, it should at any rate, mine all do) and then just to be on the
safe side shut the computer off. When the PC is shut off plug the printer
back in and turn it on. Then turn on the printer again and install the
drivers for it. That's about the only additional solution I can think of
seeing as there's no additional malware on the system according to your last
post.
