Using MSN Messenger on XP I can see my friends via a webcam but cannot talk to or hear them. I even replaced the camera but still no luck. All tests work OK so I am stumped. Can anyone help?
First, unless you webcam is a microphone in disguise, I highly doubt
changing it will make voice any clearer. Second, notice that this is a
forum for Windows Messenger, not MSN.

Logitech webcams have built-in mics, but it is best to use the soundcard for
voice.. get a headset for a pc, and then set it up using the audio wizard
feature of MSN Messenger..
