Describe "won't work" with more detail. What error or symptom are you seeing?
Try installing Microsoft Messenger / Windows Messenger. Does the webcam work
with that?
Try another webcam. Try this webcam on another computer.
What version of YM is this? Try re installing YM.
What webcam is this? Does it explicitly state for Yahoo Messenger? Try re
installing its drivers.
Is another process running which uses the webcam? You can only run one process
at a time. I found I'd need to close Windows Messenger sometimes to get my
webcam to work with Yahoo Messenger.
