Web published to subdirectory

Guest

I have created a website using FrontPage. When I follow all of the
instructions for publishing the web it published to a subdirectory on the
website (as though it is behind hiding behind the existing site). Tech
support for the company the website is hosted through says there should be a
place to change other options that will remedy this problem. I'd greatly
appreciate any assistance in getting my website uploaded to the right
location.
Thank you.

You web host must map your login to the exact folder that FP is to upload to if the remote site /
server has the FP extensions.

If publish via FTP, then the host need to provide you with the exact path to publish to and this
needs to always be map to your login.

When you log on to the server you're publishing to, it should already go to
the correct directory, i.e. your "home" directory called, for example
something like htdocs, public_html etc - it doesn't show this folder name,
but it should be where you automatically go to.
