Web Pages in Foreign Language!

D

Diggy

Every . . .single . . .time I go to an MS site (like the knowledge base or
the office update page) I get a Korean langauge page! It's really getting
annoying. Then I have to search around for the "MS Around the World" link
or whatever it's called. It's a pain in the butt. I hate surfing the web
in Korean. (It's not my native language.)

I am physically located in Korea. All of my software is in English,
including XP Home. I do have the Korean language enabled so that I can type
in Korean.

How can I stop making MS assume I want to browse in Korea?!! Where the heck
is this setting, in my registry somewhere? Or do the MS sites just realize
that I am physically in Korea and then give me the Korean pages????

Hi,

It's because of your regional and time zone settings, the system assumes
that you are in Korea, so displays the page in the appropriate language.
