Program Installation - Wrong Language

I have WinXP, english version. I have inatalled the Asian langauge
pack and enabled the Korean IME, which I have made my default IME (it
just makes switching from engish to korean much easier that way).

The problem is that some programs I install seem to think that since my
default IME is Korean, my preferred langauge is Korean (this is far
from the truth). As a result, a number of programs install themselves
with Korean menus and have no way to change back to English.

Is there some way to prevent this from hapenning?

Have a look when you install whichever program. There should be a language
option somewhere. Make sure you select the one you want. You might have to
do a custom install instead of a default install.

Nope, in these situations there is no option for language selection.
The program just takes it upon itself to install using the Korean
language. In fact, one recent case I was installing specifically the
english-language install executable for a program, and it STILL ended
up in korean language. Strange.
