This is probably very easy, but I just dont have time to dig anymore. I have a new laptop w/ 15" screen, but the webpage only takes up about 8". Why does it do that and How can I stretch it out to full screen?

If you haven't tried maximising the web-browsers window,
(middle icon, top right of window frame) then this depends
on the original webpage and how it was designed - have you
tried viewing another web page on your laptop?

If the web page is proportioned as per font-size, then you
may increase the text size from the View menu.

Also, in your desktop properties (right-click anywhere on
desktop) Properties/Settings Tab/Font size: try changing
that to large fonts (requires restart).

I hope this helps.

Open such a window.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
