Everytime I attempt to access a web page when it has
finished loading it freezes for upto 2 minutes. Is there
anything that can be done?

Hello Rav,

Same was happening to me....I did this and it repaired
it...first I went to adaware.com and downloaded the spyware
program.....cleaned my pc of any spyware that may have been
on it..then go into IE, Internet Options, advanced and
uncheck Third Party Browswer Extensions...Now it's running
like a charm...Hope this Helps..

This is also happening on 1 of the 2 PC's in our house,
except that the delay is about 15-20 seconds. We are on
DSL, and I wonder if the communication medium is the
difference in time.

I tried disabling third party cookies in Internet Options
and it worked! Thanks so much! I've spent about three
hours on this hanging problem! Carolyn

That fixes the symptom. To fix the cause see
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
