Web page does not exist

I'm getting an error with Frontpage 2003 when I try to publish my existing
web site. The error is "Web site does not exist...........Would you like
Frontpage to create one?" If I say "yes", I can another error "There is no
web named "/".

I have published with to my site with FP2003 before and I don't understand
why I can't do it now. I'm able to publish the site on another computer, but
not mine.

Any help will be appreciated.

Using Windows search with FrontPage closed, search for files named *.web and delete all found.
Reopen FrontPage and try again.

Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem. I found 4 files named *.web and
I deleted them and I received the same results.

I currently have my XP firewall turned off and I have a router, but I haven't
changed any settings on the router or the XP firewall.

In FP2003 Remote Web Site View - Remote Web Site Properties make sure the FP SE option is selected and try entering the location of
your remote site w/ & w/o a trailing

You can also Start by opening both of your sites in FP (File Open Web/Site), or opening your physical local site in FP and Reverse

Again, unfortunately no results. What I don't understand is why I can get
the same website to publish on one computer and not the other. I don't know
what could have changed to create the problem.

Compare the settings and any firewalls

I have the XP firewalls off on both pcs and I've checked the router settings
on both pcs and they are the same. I've checked the FP settings and they are
the same. I don't know what other settings to check.

Thanks so much for your help!!!!!
