Web cam freezes

can anyone help? Using my Logitech Pro4000 web cam to
connect with relatives in America, I can see him
perfectly, but my picture keeps freezing after a few
minutes. Neither of us can get 'voice' connection. He is
using comcast network - help! We've just signed up with
Broadband, thinking this was going to help, but it hasn't.
 
Sounds like a pokey system or a pokey connection. Are you
both on dsl/cable? More memory, better camera, faster
computer...without details nobody can answer your question.
