pc web camera

i have a web cam on aol/messenger my neighbor has
identical web cam on tiscali/messenger we can send
messages to each other but no video/sound when we both
accept connection just get grey screen on camera box

neither of us has verified e mail

Get a microsoft passport,use windows messenger 4.7,then use instant
message.
