web cams

Is there anyone who can help !! Dell can`t. I bought a new
Dell 4600 and I can not get a web cam to work in MSN or
Yahoo messenger.It is not the web cams I have tried 4 new
web cams all work on my old E Machine none on my new dell
can anyone help me with this ?

Greetings,

In terms of MSN Messenger, if just open the main MSN Messenger window, click the Tools menu,
then Audio/Video Tuning Wizard, then go through the wizard to select and test your camera.
If you still encounter problems, you'll need to be more specific about what camera (brand and
model) you have, where it's failing (are you unable to connect? is the wizard failing? etc),
what version of Messenger you're trying (click the Help menu, then About if you're not sure)
and how you're initiating the video/webcam conversation.
