disappearing from the face of Usenet just after asking a question! RL
intervened somewhat.

This looks good, and I'll be trying it out.

As for the reason why I want to try something else -- I do the same
with newsreaders, regularly. I just like to try new software and see if
I find something that I like better than what I'm using. I don't have
any special problems with MSIE: in fact, it's one of the two MS
programs I use regularly and like quite a lot (the other is Word 97).
And I'm not terribly concerned about security because my firewall and
antivirus seem to be doing a good job, together with the (admittedly,
ludicrously numerous) security patches. But I might like some other
browser even more, and I won't know until I try :-)
